About
Meet The
Cowboy Coach.
Jon Anderson has spent his career developing people — from agriculture and business to leadership coaching and the horse arena.
His Story
Leadership lessons learned in the saddle.
Jon Anderson is The Cowboy Coach and the creator of PRAUS. His approach to leadership wasn't built in a classroom — it was shaped at the intersection of agriculture, business, coaching, faith, and horsemanship.
Long before it was a keynote or a framework, PRAUS was just how Jon worked horses: not by breaking their spirit, but by teaching a powerful animal to respond to the slightest direction. Somewhere along the way, he realized he was watching the same principle every good leader eventually has to learn.
Today Jon brings that same directness into boardrooms, ranch arenas, and conference stages — helping leaders become more disciplined, responsible, courageous, and intentional with the influence they've been entrusted with.
Where It's Rooted
Rooted in real life. Built for real leaders.
This isn't theory borrowed from a business school case study. It's tested on real ground — checking cattle, starting colts, running a operation where the work doesn't care how you feel about it that day.
That's the standard Jon brings to every organization he works with: ideas that hold up outside the seminar room, because they were built outside the seminar room first.
What He Believes
The convictions behind the coaching.
Faith-Driven
Built on the conviction that real strength is meant to be stewarded, not hoarded.
Hard Work
Put in the work. Get results that last — there's no shortcut around the wet saddle blankets.
Live The Life
Don't just talk about it. Ride your horse — in leadership and in life.
You can't fake leadership.
Strength alone isn't enough. The question is whether that strength can be trusted.
